Subject: Recent Discussions
Dear all, This site has seen a lot of activity recently, which is great. If some of = you are wondering why many of the regular participants (including myself) = are not participating in the recent discussions, it's because we are = frantically trying to prepare for the upcoming meeting. I (I won't speak = for others this time) simply do not have time to read all these messages = and am deleting most of them without reading more than a couple of lines. = This is unfortunate, because some of them (Mike Keesey's first post today = comes to mind) raise important points that deserve further discussion. = Some of these discussions will likely occur during the meeting. For those = of you who are unable to attend the meeting, I suspect that your posts are = more likely to be read by people who are attending if the discussion = occurs after the meeting. I hate to discourage discussion. I just want = to point out that many of us will not have time to participate until after = the meeting and are unlikely to wade through the backlog that has built up = by that time.
