4. The "Bacteriological Code" is being renamed the International Code=

follow them." Should this be worded as "but systematists should follo=
w them=20
except if they have good reasons for not doing so"? Or perhaps even a=

"specified reasons"? I don't have an opinion here, but I think this i=
ssue=20
should probably be clarified to make sure we all understand the same =
by=20
"recommendation".

Will the Society or the Committee hold a vote on the proposal to regi=
ster=20
affixes (Pan-...) instead of separately registering each name formed =
by the=20
addition of an affix?=20
