Once more, we have an individual who does not know what he is talking
about, offering his latest installment in Victorian phrenological mesmerism.
He states that my 1996 publication is not a "professionally accepted work" --
who are the professionals he is referring to? I specified a new species, with
type specimen designated, provisional diagnosis presented, horizon specified,
referred specimens for the hypodigm. Two dinosaur scholars I have profound
respect for -- George Olshevsky & Tracy Ford (who, unlike Qilongia, have published
extensively), received copies of my publications in 1995 and 1996. That Don
Glut, without contacting me, offered an unjustified emendation of a valid
scientific name does not negate my taxon. As Qilongia has yet to publish a thorough
analysis of the specimens involved, who has yet to publish anything on
dinosaurs and phylogenetic systematics, and as he is intent on propogating cacophony
in lieu of scientific discourse re: Tyrannosaurus stanwinstonorum -- I find
his latest exercise petulant and pseudoscientific.
