David Marjanovic asked: >Does this mailing list have archives like the Dinosaur Mailing >List's at ><http://www.cmnh.org/fun/dinosaur-archive>www.cmnh.org/fun/dinosaur-ar >chive? There is an archive, but it isn't as easy to access as the one David cites. In order to see all the messages from a particular month, send a message to listserv@ohio.edu. The text of your message should say: SEND [PhyloCode]ARCHIVE.YEAR-MONTH For example, if you wanted to see all of the messages sent in November, 2000, your message to listserv@ohio.edu would say: SEND [PhyloCode]ARCHIVE.2000-NOV There should be nothing else in your message. Do not include a signature file. There cannot be a space between [PhyloCode] and ARCHIVE. I'm afraid this system is rather clunky, but it is at least possible to access old messages if you know when they were sent. The archive starts in May, 2000. Before that, the PhyloCode listserv was hosted elsewhere and lacked an archiving function. Mike Keesey asked: >OOC, how many nations are represented on this list? In this exchange we >have the U.S.A. (myself) and Austria (David Marjanovic). > This listserv currently has 78 members. Based on their email addresses, they represent at least 15 different countries (USA, Sweden, Italy, Canada, Australia, Britain, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Brazil, Austria, Spain, Switzerland, Portugal, and South Africa).
