Hi all,
A paper that summarizes my recent talk (about a year ago) at
the annual meeting of the "Soci=E9t=E9 Fran=E7aise de Syst=E9matique" has
just been published. In my talk (and the paper), I have tried to
convince the Franch systematic community that phylogenetic
nomenclature and the phylocode constitute a great progress, and that
they should embrace it. This paper is mostly a synthesis of recent
developments in this field, and expresses my own point of view. It
is written in French and for French-speaking systematists, but if any
of you wishes to receive it, I can send copies.
Here is the reference of this paper:
LAURIN, M. 2001. L'utilisation de la taxonomie phylog=E9n=E9tique en
pal=E9ontologie: avantages et inconv=E9nients. Biosystema 19: 197-211.
Sincerely,
Michel
